Supporting charitable causes

Supporting charitable causes

We are proud of our ongoing dedication to corporate social responsibility, believing that we must use our significant standing and reputation in the music industry to drive positive change.

Each year we donate funds to an array of charities and support numerous projects through sponsorship. PPL’s employees also participate in fundraising activities.

Our Charity of the Year:

British Heart Foundation (BHF)

In 2001, we introduced a Charity of the Year, nominated and voted on by our employees. Since 2008, PPL’s employees have raised around £150,000 for a number of charities, including Cancer Research, Dementia UK, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Macmillan Cancer Support, MIND, Shelter UK, Teenage Cancer Trust, Thames21 and Whizz-Kidz, through diverse activities including marathons, skydives, bake sales and internal raffles.

PPL’s 2022 Charity of the Year was the British Heart Foundation (BHF). We supported the charity in 2020 and 2021 and, due to pandemic disruption, decided to continue our support in 2022. The BHF’s vision is to work towards a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. To achieve this, it raises money to research cures and treatments.
